Community Guidelines

Frevvu is built to be a place that's actually yours — but that only works if it stays safe and welcoming for everyone in it. These are the basic rules every member, server owner and bot developer agrees to by using Frevvu.

Last updated September 2026

1

Treat people with respect

No harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or targeted abuse based on someone's race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic. Disagreements happen — pile-ons, brigading, and targeted harassment campaigns aren't allowed, in a server or in DMs.

2

Keep minors safe

Zero tolerance for sexual content involving minors, and zero tolerance for grooming or sextortion — accounts involved are banned and reported to the relevant authorities. Any content restricted to an adult audience must live in a server that gates it appropriately, never in a public or unmarked channel.

3

Nothing illegal

Don't use Frevvu to sell drugs, weapons, stolen data, or counterfeit goods, to organize violence, or to share material that's illegal to possess or distribute. Follow the law that applies to you and to the people you're talking to.

4

Protect people's privacy

No doxxing — don't share someone's home address, workplace, phone number, or other identifying details without their consent. Non-consensual intimate imagery is never allowed, regardless of how it was obtained.

5

No spam, scams, or malware

Don't mass-DM strangers, run fake giveaways, phish for account credentials, or use a bot or webhook to distribute malicious links or files. This applies to automated messages exactly as much as it applies to a human typing them.

6

Be who you say you are

Don't impersonate Frevvu staff, another member, or an organization you're not affiliated with. Bots must make it clear they're a bot — Frevvu already tags every bot account for you, so don't try to disguise one as a human.

7

Server owners set the tone, moderators keep it

If you own or moderate a server, you're responsible for what happens in it. That means:

  • Setting clear rules for your own community, on top of these baseline guidelines
  • Acting on reports from your members, not just waiting for Frevvu to step in
  • Not exploiting broad permissions (like Manage Server) to abuse members you're supposed to be protecting
8

Build bots responsibly

A bot's actions are the developer's responsibility. Don't use the Bot SDK or API access to spam, scrape data you don't have permission to collect, evade rate limits, or automate anything a human wouldn't be allowed to do under these guidelines.

9

Don't exploit the platform

No abusing bugs for personal gain, artificially inflating a server's sparks or Ignite level, running multiple accounts to evade a ban, or reselling accounts and servers. Report a bug instead of quietly using it — see Contact us.

How reports & enforcement work

Right-click any message or open a member's profile menu and choose Report to send it to our Trust & Safety team — this works the same whether the offending content is in a server, a DM, or came from a bot.

What happens after that depends on severity and history:

  1. Warning — a first, minor violation with no lasting harm.
  2. Timeout or mute — temporary loss of send/voice permissions in a server, usually applied by that server's own moderators.
  3. Server or account suspension — for repeated violations, or anything severe enough to warrant it immediately (illegal content, threats, minors' safety).
  4. Permanent ban — for the most severe or repeated violations, applied account-wide, not just to a single server.

Think a decision was made in error? Contact us and we'll take a second look.
